I feel that I am getting lazy and lazier. I don't open the book yet and the exam is around the corner!

The trick I used in college was to leave the books I need to study from OPEN. I never put them away. Then, every time I passed by them, I'd just have a "quick look" for 5-10 minutes at a time. It never felt overwhelming to me that way.

What I did when I was in graduate school and had to write longer papers was to sit in my room with my favorite candy and water and "just started". Even if you get off to a start that is not as strong as you like, you've started.

You can do this!!! Good luck!

Hmmm....there are a range of different strategies to help you.

First, set aside time for fun. If you have no fun, then you will not want to study. For example, friday nights are party night, saturday is for sleeping.

Next, find a place to study. Libraries are good (but I like to eat and study, so it is not always the best place).

set your goals by looking at past exams. This will tell you how big a challenge you face. As you study more your knowledge will find the exams easier and easier.

Imagine yourself getting a rotten result. Call your friends. Have someone call you every hour to remind you to study. And you do the same. It worked for me when I was reading storybooks a week b4 my exam. Bumps up your phone bill rather, but if ya think it's worth it...
