I always have those. I heard it might be frustration. I also have those dreams where I go to hit my worst enemy and I throw a punch like I'm fighting underwater. It doesn't even affect them and they laugh at me. (I don't fight, I'm a lady. But I always dream about it).

Oh gosh, I HATE those dreams! I feel so angry when I wake up. Everyone else is at regular speed except you. I especially hate the fight ones.

I also have *false awakening* dreams where I wake up, take a shower, start driving to my destination.... and at some point I realize I am still dreaming. Some times I have "woken up" 10-15 times before I would wake up for real. Each time I woke up, I would look around my surroundings, look at my hand and confirm I am really awake, only to moments later, realize I fell asleep in a different room and I was in fact still sleeping.

Now I am officially the weirdest person here. Sorry... I will go hang my head in shame now. I have a very active subconscious.

I used to have those dreams all of the time when I was younger. It was always the same black figure chasing me. I would try to run as fast as I could, but I moved at a snails pace like I was in slow motion. To this day, those dreams still haunt me. I've always wondered what it meant.

I have dreamt of trying to run to save my wife but my body just won't move. It's like you said trying to run underwater. It freaks me out and I usually wake up yelling and punching. My wife is the most important person in my life and I guess I have a subconscious fear that something will happen to her and I won't be able to get to her to save her. I hate those dreams.

I think the reason why you have slow motion dreams is because when you are asleep, your body is actually paralysed in some sleep phase...

I have dreams where I try to run, but can only move very slowly. Like my legs are chained to ground.
