Nah dont think so. Although there is the "typical female" and the "typical male" there are lots of men and women that are wired slightly different than standard. For exampel while most girls fret at the thought of going fast around a racing track there are few girls who do enjoy it just like a man, the way there are some guys who love ballet of sport and wearing skirts over throsers.

Nope, I don't like that either. If there's nothing to say then there is no reason to be talking. If we've got something interesting to talk about, then sure, let's talk, but if we're having a hard time finding something to talk about or just talking for the sake of talking, then I think it's pointless and I'd rather be doing something else. I'm not the chatty type.

No. Cant stand it. Whats the point of being on the phone for hours talking about nothing. I actually now put the phone on speaker and get on with the house work and occasional pop back and say "yeap". They know I do it but if they have something important to say or need support I'm there 100%.

nope you're not the only one! i never call my girl friends except to make plans. if i am on the phone, its bc they called me lol. i feel a little bad that i never call anyone, but i'm just not into talking just to talk. also im one of those ppl who has a hard time ending a conversation, i feel stuck..i have trouble just saying "ok i have to go now"... so for that reason i text rather than call if i have something to tell someone! i used to love to talk on the phone when i was in high school, but now that i have 2 kids i have better things to do than sit around talking on the phone all day. one of my friends always used to think i was mad at her if i didnt call just to say hi...it was annoying! the only person i can talk to for hours is my sister.

No. I'm the same way. I actually hate the phone, and I HATE long, drawn out conversations on the phone. I'd much rather talk face to face. I get so bored on the phone.
Maybe WE should be friends! (lol)

haha..NO! I was beginning to feel i was the only one too..
In fact, Im not much for talking on the phone to anyway these days, except for maybe my Mom because I don't see her as often..
As a kid, I could handle the long talks but never just for the sake of talking..
Worry not, you are not alone! hehe.. (What the hell is wrong with these type of girls anyways? Are we the weird ones, or they?) :D

No, I can't stand it either. I don't call anyone unless I have a reason to and hate when people call just to say Hi. I can't stand being on the phone too long, I start to feel trapped.

Nope I talk on the phone on the average once a year and then it's only a quick conversation; only to one person.
