We have two adorable Chihuahuas. They are very cute and affectionate, even though we nicknamed one of them "anger management," and the other one "special needs." Spike is the bigger of the two and he is more like a dog. He will chase cars if we let him outside our house (front yard.) He is the aggressive, typical chihuahua.
Chico is such a sweet heart and just wants to be rubbed or petted or scratched. He was very used to being held like a baby since when we got them, Chico had some sort of disease from his mother. We took him to the vet many times, and after many treatments, nothing worked. We ended up giving him liquid silver, an immunity booster, and he perked right up, although he hasnt grown like his brother has. He is the small one, the cute one, the affectionate one.
They are so great, and their personalities are very distinct, just like their names are. My daughter named Chico, my son named Spike. We love them, they are family to us.....except when they peed on the floor,.....ugh. They are great though.
Pets add character to a family.....
ps, love to walk them, (especially dogs.) They get a sense of family togetherness when you take them out on a walk. We bought special cat leashes for them, since the regular dog leashes were too big for Spike and Chico. They get that "pack" mentallity when you walk them and tend to bond with you more. I learned that on dog whisperer. Great show.
