It's all in the great democratic plan to destroy our nation. Cut off the funding to our troops and they will lose the war and lose many MANY soldiers in the process. Then the dems can point fingers at the republicans and say "nanny nanny boo boo" and "told ya so!".
I don't care how they feel about the war going on. They DO NOT stop supporting the troops. This is an outrage!! Mutiny !! They are going to get our troops killed and it's complete and utter BS.
Thank you, Democratic party, for f**king up our country and making us all look weak and cowardly !! And thank YOU, Pelosi, for totally f**king up any chance we had of getting Syria to stop supplying the terrorists in Iraq that are killing our troops! Jeezuz H. Christmas you people piz me off !!

You are all wrong. They want to give the troops in war and home MORE money than Bush asked for.But attached to this was a plan for withdrawal which is what Bush doesn't want. But to ensure the troops have what they need the Congress is talking about taking out the timeline for withdrawal.Just so BUSH will let the funding go through. He's the bad guy here not them although I'm disappointed no one is standing their ground with him.But then again the troops will be hurt so I guess this is a damned if you do and damned if you don't deals.

They never had full and adequate equipment and armor to face roadside bomb attacks. Some parents had to buy armor from ebay and ship it to their sons and daughters overseas. Personnel carriers had to be reinforced from the bottom in order to better shield troops from bombs. This occured as long as 4 years ago when the Republicans had control of both the Senate and House. Bush has repeatedly under-estimated the costs of this war because of mismanagement and incompetency from the field. As for the new appropriations bill, the Democratic Party, in accordance with the 2006 vote for change from the US population, wants a stipulation that troops will be withdrawn by March 31, 2008. This war is Bush's boondoggle--29% of the US public now only support his so-called leadership in this war. The people will not be ignored by the Democrats. The troops have no idea who they are shooting until shot at. It's time to come home. We've spilled enough blood. Saddam is dead. Iraq has its government. It's their civil war to end, not our's.

Was it the Dems that made the troops buy their own body armor, no. Was it the Dems that approved all of those bill that has led to the erratic spending that is sending us into a recession, no. Was it the Dems that started this war and left us with no easy way out while three incompetent Secretaries of Defense resigned in one administration due to their inability to subdue one nation with no advance weaponry, no. This country is in a financial crisis and has been ever since Bush was elected and he continues to blame his incompetency on anyone he can find. Why don't you wake up and see the forest through the trees.
Besides with all the money the Republican help make off of Iraqi oil and high gas prices they should have been able to fund WWI, WWII, Vietnam, Korea, and Iraq. Those profits went to friends of the President who will give him his share once he leaves office in 2008.

What progress had Shrub made? This war has lasted longer than WWII. Support the troops is nothing but a phoney slogan for supporting the war. If Shrub really supported the troops he would have come clean when he learned what happened to Pat Tillman and properly funded Walter Reed.....

Congress and the president are on the different facets of the communicate on the subject of Iraq without answer in web site. i've got self assurance the blame lies with the president for right here motives: a million) He pre-emptively went into Iraq below questionable motives that destroyed many alliances we had gained after 9/11. 2) Osama Bin Ladan - the assassin of over 3,000 human beings on usa soil remains loose because of the rigidity Iraq has positioned on our militia. 3) Going into Iraq low-cost and quickly became a disasterous militia plan and has triggered a civil conflict. All he had to do became call his dad to substantiate why he pulled out of Iraq in need of Baghdad interior the 1st Gulf conflict. 4) Billions of U.S. tax money unaccounted for in Iraq and whilst the auditors questioned it, they have been fired. 5) Many questionable militia contracts presented to the properly related. 6) nearly all of people choose our troops out of Iraq. 7) the only militia answer in Iraq is to tug out or substantially improve the militia presence that could basically be carried out by way of a draft. the yank human beings won't help a draft. i've got self assurance the president has acted interior the activity of himself and his occasion and not the yank human beings. Impeachment might desire to be strongly considered.

DON'T BE STUPID. CHECK THE REPUBLICANS THAT AGREE. YOUR QUESTION SHOULD SAY CONGRESS NOT THE DEMOCRATS. THE ANSWER IS AS SIMPLE AS YOU.
I WILL SPEAK FOR THE PEOPLE AS I AM INDEED THIER REPRESENTITIVE. ALL OF THEM. BUT I DID FIRST ASK THEM AND THEY AGREED ABOUT TWO THINGS
1/ HOW STOOOPID YOUR QUESTION WAS
2/ NONE OF US FEEL LIKE PISSING IN THE WIND...WASTING ANY MORE MONEY[ IT IS NOW ABOUT A 1/2 MILLION A MINUTE OR MORE BECAUSE HALLIBURTON CHARGES THEM 5 BUCKS FOR A ROLL OF TOILET PAPER AND EVERYONE IN CONGRESS IS PUSHED BY THIER OLD COLLEGUES TO SPEND MORE SO WHEN THEY RETIRE THEY TOO CAN BE A LOBBYIST.ETC. MY HAND HURTS.THATS IT, ONLY KIDDING ABOUT YOU BEING STUPID OR STOOOPID.

Congress has the constitutional authority to retract support for the war. How could Bush insist on going to war without the support of the country's legislative body. He's not a dictator, is he?
