i was on the pills like 4 wks now i been having this brown dischange and i had a period for 7 days it off and started again the next day is that normal i stop taking the pill on sat.

It can take three months before the pill starts regulate things properly. What you're experiencing is perfectly normal.

The brown discharge is old blood. Some spotting is not uncommon when starting out on the pill. It can take the body some time to adjust to being on the pill and yes, the spotting can come and go.
I would definitely go ahead and contact your dr to be on the safe side to see what they think could be going on.

That is why you started again. Because getting off the hormones that will cause you to get your period. And the brown discharge is very normal. Even if you have a full period that looks like that it is still fine.

It takes a few pill packs to get on track with the hormones and your cycle.
It is normal.
