depends on the circumstances. when in the military, i often stayed up all day and most of the night. now that i'm tired and retired, as the joke goes, i try to get 8 and usually come close.

I sleep about 4-6 hours a day, I think 7-9 hours would be best but it never seems to happen for me.

8-10 hours....sometimes more than 8 hours...young people should sleep for not less than 8 hours, for old people 6-7 hours...

i sleep bout 7-8 hrs a day, depending on which study you read you should sleep either between 5-7 hrs or 6-8 hrs a day! xx
