I would like a heart felt poem that expresses sorrow for the loss of a loved one :-(

I'm so sorry. Here are some poem words from the heart for you.

Good-bye is such a difficult word...
when someone is loved deeply and sincerely. It's only natural to always want them near----- to dream about the future together, to share the everyday events, to cherish, strengthen and love.
And yet, dreams don't always work out, and good-byes, no matter how painful, are sometimes necessary. But the love once shared is never forgotten; and once cherished, a person lives forever...
within our hearts.
So,
Perhaps they are not STARS
But rather
Openings in Heaven
Where the love of our dear ones pours through
And shines down upon us
To let us know they are happy.

You asked for a poem. I hope this helps. I was given this poem when my father passed. I hope it helps you and your family like it did me. My heart goes out to you and your family.

I'm very sorry for your loss of your Grandmother.
She's with the Angels now. God Bless

I send you my sympathy for the loss of your grandma.

I would like to share a poem, that will comfort you but I don't have one concerning sorrow.

Don’t cry at my grave, cause I won’t be there.
I’ll be in the breeze that ruffles your hair,
I’ll be in the sunshine I’ll be in the snow,
I’ll be in the places that we use to go.
I’ll be in your shadow and there in your dreams.
I’ll be in your greetings but not your goodbyes.
I’ll be in the reflection of your loving eyes.
I’ll always be with you and I’ll always care.
Don’t cry at my grave side, cause I won’t be there.

This poem comforts me when I get teary eyed over the loss of my loved ones.

Bless You.

"Stop the clocks" by WH Auden
"The Road Less Travelled" Robert Frost
But my favorite is from the Bible: Ecclesiastes 3:1-8 where it talks about a time to be born and a time to die, a time to mourn and a time to dance. It makes me think that as you gather to mourn the loss of a loved one, it is also time to celebrate their life.

I'm sorry for the the loss of your beloved grandmother. My prayers and sympathy are with you.
