The FULL moon cannot be seen in the daytime. Anyone who claims to have seen it during the day is mistaken. A full moon rises at sunset and sets at sunrise. You might see it low on the horizon during twilight but not while the sun is up.
It is possible to see a very close to full moon rise just before sunset, or be setting just after sunrise, but then it is not actually a full moon.
A 95% illuminated moon will look full to most people, when it really is technically not.
As far as the original question, the answer would be about 80 years, 9 months or thereabouts.

The lunar month is 29.5 days and so 1000 full moons needs 29500 days which means 29500 / 365.25 = 80.77 years.
But for Hindus who follow lunar calender, it takes a little more time because every few years, we have an Adhika Maasa (extra month) or a Sunya Maasa (zero month), which is not counted. So, the full moon days of those months will not be counted. In practice, about 82 or 83 years will be needed for the Sahasra Poorna Chandra Darsanam (seeing one thousand full moons). Elders who have completed that age are worshipped.

The defintion of a month is the time it takes to go through one cycle, which of course includes a full moon (which is actually the day that starts the month), so you are of course going to get one per month if you start at a full moon day it will take exactly 1000 months.

Rhyno is mistaken--I see the full moon very often during the day. The only time the moon is hard to find is on cloudy days or when it is new, and therefore "near" the sun's position in the sky.
The lunar month is about 29.53 days. 1000 full moons would occur in about 80.85 years (dividing 29530 by 365.2422).

Never, because you can't see the moon during the day!
oh, wait, it wasn't a riddle? Then I'd estimate about one a month, so about 83 years.
