Yet another Government scam to put all landlords into the same category. Those who are reputable and honest landlords pay the price for those who are useless deadlegs. Whatever you do in this country to provide a pension fund gets trodden on by the Government. It makes me sick.

Don't worry, there will be plenty of con-merchants and scam artists setting themselves up as 'Agents' to collect the money - I'm sure, even as we speak, some-one is printing Business Cards.
You can be sure that the Government will ask for it what they want it - leave the Deposits in a high-interest account until they send you the paper-work.
