Nope. Not alligator or crocodile, I've seen more alligator skulls in my life that you've probably seen alligators, and that's not one. Not sure what it is, but it's not any part of an alligator or crocodile. Eye sockets aren't big enough, and it's too smooth. Also, there are fissures in crocodilian skulls, and they don't separate into a piece like that. Sorry, not 100% sure what it is (I'd say fishbone), but I am 100% sure it's not crocodilian in nature.

no, I have a few skulls in the classroom and that is definitely not one. Possibly it could be a sturgeon skull, not sure. If you found it near water, it could be a large fish(like a sturgeon). Its very hard to tell from your pictures, but I give you credit for not moving it and taking pics.

contact the DNR and alert them to this before anyone else messes with it. Could be a Caimen, a type of large reptile that lives in the amazon.. It has large-ish eyes and a pushed out sort of appearance at the 'cheeks.'. Its so hard to tell, tho!

Good luck finding out what it is!

in the second pic it looks like you can see where the spine may have began. but it's hard to tell. it would be a croc not a alligator because alligators have short stocky snouts and crocs have long snouts. i think it might be. let me know if you find out
