i don't use the l'oreal brand powdered foundation but i have a physicians formula that is probably the same. i always moisturise my face first. but let it dry for about 5 or so minutes so the foundation won't "stick" to my face and be noticible. then i blend it in well. sometimes i add powder on top if i feel like it needs more or something but the powder foundation doesn't "need" another powder on top. just do what works for you.

ALWAYS moisturize before applying any makeup! Especially mineral make-up...It looks so much better on moisturized skin :)

Anyway, I'm not sure what the Bare Naturale foundation comes with, but I know BareMinerals comes with the foundation and also a sheer "mineral veil" to help control excess oil. If you wanted, it'd be perfectly fine to dust on a translucent powder after you use the Bare Naturale. It'd help it stay put and look fresh even longer. Definitely not necessary though, its your choice :)

The answer to your question is simple. Apply your make up in a manner that makes you feel most comfortable and what looks the best to you. I personaly perfer a more natural look. I only wear foundation that blends well with my skin tone. Maybe a mild tone lip gloss, and some eye shadow. Others like to accentuate certian facial features by wearing lighter or darker make up. Oh and moisturizer shouldn't hurt anything. If anything it will help especialy if you tend to have dry skin.
Hope that helps!

you should moisturise your face first before putting on make up. it's better for your skin that way.
and you may brush on loose powder in a downward motion to set your foundation after applying them on.
