No. You should only transfer the user data files such as Word documents and the like. Everything else must be re-customized.

Yes, the Files and Settings Transfer Wizard in XP will transfer from Win2000.

transfer reg (no) if you me the win2000 registry files... different system

Yes! But, if not done correctly can stop 1, if more than 1 version id installed, Losdows version booting. Manual Adjustment might be the best way of doing it if all else fails.

I never used it but XP has a file move program that should move your files into XP. Save setting i couldn't say
