I think, People like Fox News are trying to get a message through to others. In a low-key way. If they show the strengths of this Nation. Through the Heroism's of our Soldiers? They'll get overloaded with Protests and accusations. They wanna appease the middle ground. And make their point more indirectly. I've learned that, from the Dean of My College. Should they show More feats of Heroism? Damn Skippy on that! But they do have a Bottom Line to look at. Once Americans, show up at the Polls. And voice their opinions on how this Nation should be run? You could see more news about those many dangerous feats.

BIAS liberal media ; that's why . To praise our troops under the wrong party would undermine the smear job they spew on the President . Another reason is they hate the military . The only mention that ever comes out of the liberal mainstream media is :
A) When they mention the war casualties .
B) When they have the slightest excuse to badmouth our troops .
One mainstream media type mentions a member of our military at the close of each show : Nancy Grace calls attention to dead soldier . Never a word on how our brave military & coalition forces liberated the Iraqi people . The Iraqi's praise our troops . I've heard them .Our troops even wonder why all the good they do in Iraq does not make it home to the broadcast news mainstream media .

When people start turning the channel and not buying their propaganda bs in the papers, then they will report something new to gain the audience. Maybe the media thinks this is the only kind of news they can sell? I try very hard to listen to good talk radio shows about the war, and read unbiased coverage like The Christian Science Monitor. The only real protest is boycott! This brings with it the obvious financial sanctions that would bring about change (in my opinion).

I think WE DO see these stories quite a lot on TV. Maybe not every day, but they are shown often and are easy to find.

The troops truly are brave and heroic, but the media does not exist to be a reality show of war. We do not need to see the troops on TV doing their job. We know they are there. We know what they are doing. But in a half hour news cast we need to cover a lot of other thing - like the people back home that the troops fight for. And we need to discuss the issues and have an ongoing dialogue during these newscasts. To fill the airwaves with the exploits of the troops would simply be propaganda and sensationalism.

The United States military is comprised of hard working volunteers, people who chose the job they are in. But to show thier work on TV every day is not always necessary. And, in fact, it could be a security risk. Would you want to put our troops at risk just so you can watch their heroics on TV?

I think if we had a draft, and forced people to go to war, the there would be a better argument for showing them on TV more, since those people would never have wanted to be there in the first place.

I think you already know the answer.

Tragedy, scandal, death and other bad news is what sells. All media is a for profit business, you are not against this I hope. The media outlets would be surprised I think, by how the news you describe would go over. I would like to see this type of thing in the papers and on the news. I think every American would agree with us on this.

But hate sells! As long as we keep buying trash, They will provide it!

Because the media hates George Bush. They will do all they can to turn this country against him and this war, even if it means hurting our troops or causing another 9-11 to happen in the process.is trying to turn the country against the war. They want America to believe we are losing the war, even though that couldn't be further from the truth. They are applying pressure to the government to pull out. Sad to say, but the song "American Idiot" by Green Day is so true. This nation is controlled by the media. And bad news sells. More of the country needs to realize what a wonderful job our guys and ladies are doing over there.

The mainstream media along with the democrats are trying to push the agenda and message of defeat. If they showed our troops kicking butt, then a lot more people would support the mission. Victory in Iraq does not fit the democrat party and the mainstream media template, all they're interested in is defeat cause it will make Bush look bad. It's all about Bush, the dems and the libs would sell out their own mothers if it meant it would make Bush look bad.

That would build troop morale, national pride, military appreciation, overwhelming troop support, and a longing to finish the job. These are things the communist media will not help promote. That's why!

grasping that mom is truly ineffective. she died a splash over in the past and it nevertheless is tough to wrap my strategies around. i be conscious of she isn't alive and that's obvious. even if whilst ever I say it aloud that mom is ineffective this is whilst it gits to it in basic terms does not make sense to. this is like i'm chasing my tail and in basic terms can not get my strategies around it.
