yes, plastic surgery can get rid of it. my uncle is one and he does everything from removing scars to tattoos.

I'm not sure, but talk to your doctor, I know there are proceedures, not sure how or what is done, look into San Antonio, Texas as we have BAMC here (Army hospital, yes they will help you even if you aren't military) that is the number 1 burn specialist hospital in the world, ALL burn victims from the war, car accidents, explosions, etc are sent there.

I don't think so. At best, all you would be doing is replacing one scar- with another. Try not to let it bother you too much. If you still have full use of the hand- be thankfull. We ALL accumulate scars over the years from some event or other; consider yours as just another "war wound" of life.

Depending on the amount and depth of tissue damage - both laser and plastic surgery - synthetic skin graphing is available, consult with a dermatologist/plastic surgeon to find out which may be the best option

Hopefully you used Neosporin during the initial healing process, and are now using a high end scar cream (not Mederma).
