Is she Pagan, or Wiccan, or interested in these religions? In Wicca, moonphases correspond with phases in a woman's life. So the New Moon corresponds with the Maiden, or the young woman. Basically, she could be saying she's growing up!

You two are "going around?" You mean y'all are going out or something?

Anyway, she may be just trying to be poetic or something, or maybe she was hinting that she's becoming interested (or at least curious) about guys. I wouldn't start assuming anything quite yet, but I would pay close attention to her body language and what comes out of her mouth, just to get a clearer picture.

maybe it means she's going to get her period, or is on her peirod? our moon has cycles? maybe she was connecting hers with our moon's? you should ask.

when i read that, i think menstral cycles...
