i just watched the trailer for the sequel. does anybody know if any of the characters from the original movie will be in this or not?

No they will not. It is based on the US Army, trying to clean up a almost rage virus free London, but then the virus spreads rapidly again.
Harold Perrineau is in it and so is Robert Carlyle. both great actors and i have heard good things about this movie so dont worry about the new cast.

Unfortunately no. It's not even by the same director (Danny Boyle) which is significant in my opinion.
On the plus side, it's got Robert Carlyle. He's a good actor.

no they wil have some comics to show what happened inbetween movies....i heard there's some crazy dude that stayed in London cuz he had fun killing the infected

I don't know. The first one sucked. I think it was the pacing of the story more than the actual story though, so maybe there's hope for this one. Yeah, maybe. :-/
