Books, what are they good for?

I think books are great, but i wanted to know what are the purposes of them.

To learn, to expand your mind, to read about other people's experiences and points of view, to escape, to fall asleep, to gain knowledge, to keep your papers from blowing away when the windows are open, to answer questions, to stand on when you can't reach the top shelf, to fill up your bookshelf, to fill up your mind.

Books simply enrich the mind.In this time & age where everything seems to be serve by the media; that sadly even the littlelest imagination is taken away from you, books place you in whole new dimension. A place where in you can paue...think & be enlightened!

books--well if you really read & digest the contents it's as if you're wearing a signature or branded clothes, that at the back of you're mind you're confident to face anyone of any status. Books can really empower you!

if you're a voracious reader you wont down yourself as if youre the only person who doesnt know the earth is round!

They are good for many things including your life view. If you read books the words you're using in a day would be much more than a person who doesn't read... There are lots of advantages of reading book. For example:

- The people who read books look up the dictionary much less than the people who don't read. And They can talk about almost everything. They also read lots of story about the events in the life and that situation makes them do less mistakes.

- They can think faster than the other people and can get the right decisions easily in many difficult situation...

- They know a lot of think and this definitely helps them to make friends easily.

- They can read faster than the other people and this is really an advantage for students in their exams.

There are lots of advantages and disadvantages about reading books. Like, When You start to read You can never give it up. =) I hope these makes you want to read something...

Books were invented for many different reasons. Without books how would we learn how to read,how would teachers teach professionally,they wouldn't. I think everyone in their right mind should pick a book up every once in a while and read. Books are used for alot of different reasons. They teach us about history,present day and confirms things we might already know. We can also get answers for homework. Reading books are wrote to tell life stories,past experiences, to keep people busy or jus wrote because alot of people can relate to them.
