A little mead, a little thanking to the god and goddess, a little reflection on the passing of winter and coming of summer. Blessed be.

Which one? There are so many... if you don't realize it, just go to a store like Walmart, Kmart, or most any grocery store... it's all about spending money... shop till you drop... and don't worry about your bills, they will be there when you get back from town! Attention shopaholics... calling all customers who have no self control... if you don't see the specific holiday item
you need, it's on the next isle! Really... there is V-Day in red on aisle 3, St. Pat's Day in green on aisle 4 and Easter in all colors pastel on aisles 5 & 6!... Then watch on 7 for Mother's Day, and 8 for Flag day, and 9 & 10 for the 4th of July!!! That will hold you until August when it's packed with Back to School,... Halloween, Thanksgiving and Christmas... not to mention New Year's! So, really... what is the specific holiday you had in mind? Don't you think that it's the profit minded commerce that makes it all so pagan and commercial? The true spirit of Easter, or Christmas or anything else we enjoy is not pagan, but is made to be masqueraded as a pagan celebration! When we are able to forget the bunnies, chicks, eggs, fancy clothes, presents, (always a present involved!) then we could actually focus on the real meaning of the holiday! That is part of my plan, not to go crazy on shopping!

(The Pagans had chocolate bunnies? My biggest problem with this holiday is the whole deal with Easter presents. All I got as a kid was a chocolate bunny, a hard-boiled egg, a basket, fake grass, and being coerced to behave in church. Now the Easter Bunny's become Santa 2.0.)

Anyway, my real answer is going over to my stepbrother's house to eat and drink a lot.
