an easy rule, just to make it simpler
1) the product of the mid terms equals the product of the extemr terms (i.e.14*27 = 18*__) - its really helpfull and always true
now, if u want to find the missing term, divide both sides by 18 to obtain:
x= 14*27 / 18 = 21
