I don't like surrendering.
But if someone is hurt, emotionally
or they offend me in some way.
I wouldn't want to fight them.
Of course it is a betrayal of principles
but I would rather be happier than
hurt from someone's negative words.

Yes...if surrender will cause harm or emotional distress to someone...even you.
