Sometimes it's just fun to have fun and not be locked into the serious and challenging mode.
Most people on here seem to have a lot of fun, and treat each other well.
I enjoy other sections also, but I find myself drawn back here time and time again.

You're right. The questions are not very philosophical, but I like the randomness of the questions. Also, the fact that it makes me feel smart.

When I first came here it was the just like home feeling I got from the people on this site, and it was very refreshing to me so I am staying. It has its drawbacks from time to time, and down days but it comes with the territory.

Precisely because questions here are not philosophical or challenging; bit it reflects more people themselves, their love & hate, dreams & aspirations, fears & ambitions, beliefs & doubts.... With all these you learn more about people, not technology, skills, politics, regions....

why do you say that section ::?? i bet most people just read the questions as they are posted (without noteing the section its in) and answer because of the question, its just the easier answerable and most fun questions are put into "polls&surveys"
