No, you need a male and a female molly, but female mollies are capable of storing sperm for later use, and even if she has only been in a tank with a male for 1 day she will be able to have several batches of fry.
Oh and by the way, hermaphrodites can not reproduce asexually, these are totally different terms.

No mollies cannot reproduce asexually it takes a male and a female.
Female Mollies can have up to 5 sets of fry from only one breeding.
If you had gotten females from the store and no males, chances were they were already prego when you brought them home.

Like they said nope but they do store it that is why my pair's babies don't look like daddy...at least that is what I tell him! lol They had 23 in my 55 saltwater tank and she is working on some more.
