I'm not quite sure what an apothem is, but according to Merriam-Webster, it sounds like the height. If this is the case, split the triangle into two 90 degree triangles.

The ratio of the base to height to hypotenuse for a 30-60-90 right triangle is x : x * sqrt 3 : 2x. Thus, if the apothem is the height, then your base must be roughly 9.8 (x = 17/sqrt3). Find the area of that triangle, and multiply by two.

Area = (semi-perimeter)(apothem) / 2

The apothem forms a 30-60-90 triangle, where the apothem is adjacent to the 60 degree angle. Half a side of the equilateral triangle is equal to 17 tan 60, or 17 sqrt 3. Thus a whole side would equal 34 sqrt 3.

The perimeter is 102 sqrt 3, and thus the semi-perimeter is 51 sqrt 3.

The area is therefore 433.5 * sqrt 3.

The base is the length of a side. The height is s√3 /2 so
A=s^2√3 /4
p=3s
I don't know what you mean by "apothem"
If you know the area,
s=√(A*4/√3)=2√(A/√3)

Hi. It is the distance from the midpoint of any side to it's opposite apex. This will equal the height of the side opposite the 60 degree angle. Can you figure it from here?

Same as for any triangle. 1/2 base * height.
