I am a consumer. I am born, produce day & day out with no purpose but to make money, and then die. All I do is only of temporary happiness. It seems everything in my life does not have much meaning or values. How do I escape the "System Society"?

How do I live like the Natives do?

I am a native and let me guarantee that you wouldn't want our lives in North America today. Not that we don't have good things about our lives today, but honestly, lots of us would like to go back to the way it was, as we say "before the money came". Money has messed it up for most of us.

Now in Canada, it is more common for more natives to "live in the bush", with out electricity, with few modern conveniences. I could take you to my reservation in Brazil too, but life is pretty tough there for lots of reasons. But if you could learn to live a really simple life with few choices, we live in a beautiful place there -- no internet, no cel phones, no cars. And you would make friends but unless you married, you probably would get pretty lonely, because the native life is about relationships much more than modern conveniences.

But what you are talking about is a spiritual hunger. You see that materialism is harmful and pointless, and you want more. More is out there, but it is going to be relationships with other spiritual people that will help you find your place. It could be natives, but it could be others too, maybe Amish or Quakers even.

If you want some native teaching that might give you some perspectives, try the books at the link below. May Creator guide your steps.

Um, go find a Native, and ask him?
The title of a book popped in to my head when I read your question. It is called Mutant Message Down Under. I haven't read it myself, but people have told me about it. It's about a westerner who gives up every thing to live with aborigines for awhile. Perhaps this book holds some insights for you...
