How do you help who?

Whoever she was, I highly doubt she was abducted by aliens. Just because you don't know what happened and can't think up a good explanation very easily doesn't automatically mean that it was an alien abduction. You might find that things go better for you when you use more logic.

It sounds like you have a little problem with multiple personalities, the way you switched "her" with "I" in your question - "how do i help her now.....? how do i recover......?"

Perhaps it was just a vivid dream you/she had, or perhaps you/she just needs to up the medication a little, because alien abductions are mostly a case of a delusional mind, and the off-cases they aren't, usually mean the mnd is rationalising a traumatic time (such as surgery) to fit what they most believe in, that it seems almost real.

Go to the police and explain your story. They will ask you simple questions like "where did you hide the body?". Or, they could check to see whether any money has left her bank accounts or her credit cards have been used. Otherwise, forget it and hope that she will not be missed. If she was abducted by aliens there is nothing you can do. She'll be back when they are ready.

Hypnogogia;

Also known as waking-sleep, hypnogogia is a documented physiological condition in which a person is part-way between sleeping and waking. During hypnogogia, a person can be conscious and aware of their environment, but also in a dream-like state where they can perceive images from their subconscious. People experiencing waking-sleep commonly report the sensation of lights or shadows moving around them, as well as other visual hallucinations. A feeling of dread is also a sensation that occurs when experiencing hypnogogia. Hypnogogia is sometimes known as 'the faces in the dark phenomenon' because sufferers commonly report seeing faces while experiencing waking-sleep. Skeptics of the paranormal have also put this hypothesis forward as a possible explanation of a number of apparently paranormal experiences, including cases of alien abductions and paranormal nocturnal visitations.

Help her get over either her hallucinations or sleeping disorders. Every abduction story starts with 'I was just falling asleep/waking up...' or 'I was going through regression therapy with my shrink...'. No one is being abducted.

How do you know it happened if you did not witness it yourself?

You get all kinds of kooks, believe me. Lot of girls think they are witches after watching various TV programs around that theme.

People are weird, mate, and this person is most likely in that category.
