Today I got 4 Fancy Tailed Guppies and all they do is hang around the top of the tank! I have 3 Angel Fish and 1 small Cat Fish in the tank with them. I have a bubbler, "Penguin" Filter, and the tank size is 22.5 gallon. Are they just hungry or are they scared of the fish at the bottom of the tank?

They are probably a combination of scared and stressed out from the move. Try turning the tank lights off it may help them relax a bit. You do want to watch their intereaction with the Angels over the next couple days. Angel fish are normally very territorial. Especially if the Angels have been in the tank more then a few days.

no longer perfect! the wonderful ratio with any stay bearing species is 4 -a million nevertheless maximum folk use 3 - a million. Any much less and the ladies are constanly being hassled by ability of the lads! this might reason rigidity appropriate ailment like white spot, and might even reason the female to miscarry. If i replaced into you i might the two purchase 2 greater women or purely purchase a million male. i might basically evaluate breeding nevertheless in case you recognize which you will discover properties for the fry. If the tank is somewhat planted and there are hiding places and no greater effective species interior the tank, some will proceed to exist with out you doing something.

A little scared and just settling in to the new tank. Of course, guppies are top water fish to begin with and will probably always spend most of their time at the top.

Don't worry, this is normal! You may want to check the temperature. i have them too and mine used to stay at the top, but then i got a better heater and water circulator so that the temperature would be consitant throughout the tank. They dont really go to the bottom of the tank but they dont always stay at the top anymore.
