age is just a number!! Take it from me.. I married someone 24 years older than me 8 years ago and my parents pretty much disowned me for a year but they got over it. we now have 3 boys. If your parents or friends don't like you marrying your g/f b/c of a 4 year difference, they are crazy. Nothing will stop love.

I am slightly more than 4 years older than my husband. All is fine until he thinks he has to announce to our friends, neighbors, and all the world how old I am. Then I feel like I could do some serious damage to him. So, if you marry someone older than you, that's fine. But don't rub it in and feel like you have to tell the whole world how old she is.

Age is a number. If she makes you happy then it shouldn't matter what other people think. Too many people are not happy because they feel they have to live up to society's expectations. There is nothing wrong with a man being with an older woman.

Age doesn't matter as long as you guys love each other and age won't drastically effect anything. It's really a shame if you have to pass up an opportunity to actually marry the person you love, but you won't because of a slight age difference. :)

well its not normal for a man to marry someone older cause male hormones make man like younger mates and female hormones make woman like older and more mature males
