Carbon Monoxide is CO
It is a gas.
CO is a nutrient for methanogenic bacteria.
In bacteria, CO is produced via the reduction of carbon dioxide.

Carbon monoxide (CO) is a product of combustion of organic matter under conditions of restricted oxygen supply, which prevents complete oxidation to carbon dioxide (CO2). Carbon monoxide is colorless, odorless, tasteless, and non-irritating, making it difficult for people to detect.

with the chemical formula CO, is a colorless, odorless, and tasteless gas. It is the product of the incomplete combustion of carbon-containing compounds, notably in internal-combustion engines. It has significant fuel value, burning in air with a characteristic blue flame, producing carbon dioxide. Despite its serious toxicity, CO is extremely useful and underpins much modern technology, being a precursor to a myriad of useful — even life-saving — products. It consists of one carbon atom covalently bonded to one oxygen atom.

Carbon monoxide is a significantly toxic gas with poisoning being the most common type of fatal poisoning in many countries.[13] Symptoms of mild poisoning include headaches and flu-like effects; larger exposures can lead to significant toxicity of the central nervous system and heart.

It's a good reason not to buy cigarettes. If carbon is incompletely combusted, CO is formed rather than CO2. As contrasted to CO2, which is not very reactive, CO does bind to hemoglobin molecules to a stronger extent than does oxygen. Thus, a person exposed to CO can literally suffocate in a nearly normal atmosphere. Moreover, once it stays on hemoglobin, it is not easy to remove. Thus, the ability of your blood to do its job is impaired.

Carbon monoxide is CO, which is dangerous since your blood has over 200 times greater affinity for CO than it does for oxygen, so small amounts of it can cause serious problems.

carbon monoxide is an oxygen atom bound together with 1 carbon atom, it it very dangerous in gas form entering into your lungs, because it binds to the hemoglobin in your blood 100 times easier than oxygen and is much more difficult to break loose of your blood, if you breathe in enough, even in small quantities it can have serious consequences like fainting and death from suffocation, in liquid form i would guess that it it just digested by your digestive juices and broken down.

colourless, odourless gas that is harmful. It is formed by incomplete combustion and is dangerous to humans since it displaces the oxygen in red blood cells quite easily.....it is very stable and so will not leave the bodily cells......carbon monoxide is released from the biological decomposition of organic materials and is seen as a pollutant.......however i have heard of companies (esp. factories) that produce CO as a waste product and convert it to other useful substances without releasing it into the environment...many convert the CO to CO2 by oxidizing it(adding oxygen).....the CO2 is generally in a solid state (dry ice)....ice cream companies use this to preserve ice cream and cold beverages.....

Carbon monoxide is a gas that binds up your hemoglobin and prevents it from binding oxygen molecules. As a result, you run out of energy and die.

carbon monoxide is usually produced during incomplete combustion. it is a lethal gas as you would not be aware of its prescence as it does not have any particular ordour and is colourless.
