Hi,

As a college project we have done a website (html pages), now i want to email it in the form of a exe file,so when the user downloads it, he can install the website folder in his PC with a link on the desktop to the index page. Please let me know what kind of open source software will help to do that.

It is urgent as i have to submit the project in 2 days time.

I think what you are looking for is an installation packager.

An installer-generator program is probably overkill.

What you need is a program that creates "self-extracting ZIP files."

Winzip Self-Extractor is a good one but it's shareware.
I think FreeZIP does it too and it's free.
Or search for free "self-extracting ZIP."
