I am going through the exact same thing right now... we just broke up about two weeks ago. I still love him even though we only dated for a few months. I've never felt that connection with anyone else before or how I felt when he kissed me. I'm scared to death he was the one and I messed it up somehow. I want to feel that way again and its killing me inside. I don't know how to stop thinking about him either):

I will always love my x and have deep feelings for him. We were together 14 some years.
I do not think of him all the time. It will help me to move on when someone new enters my life, I am certain of this.

Assuming this is a question for BOTH guys and gals, I'll answer:
Yes....I'm still in love with Theresa, a week don't go by I don't think of her. I think she too feels the same. But alas--we're both married, have families and live on opposite ends of the county; just wasn't meant for us to be together, I guess.

yeah. i went out w/ a guy for 5 months and i miss him and STILL LOVE HIM!!! i wish i could hold him and i wish he could hug me one more time like he meant it. i cant ever stop thinking about him even though i have had like 3-4 bfs after him. he is all i think of. :'-(
