hp officejet v40 how do you put the cartridges in?

I cannot find out where to put the cartridges in; sounds stupid but I've had several printers before and never had a problem.

In general, the officejets have a flip-over front cover. Usually as you flip it open, the cartridge holder will move to the middle, you can then remove the cart.

In your case, I think you pull the part with the dialpad back, then there's another small door behind that you flip open. There may be a button on the dialpad section that says "cartridge access". Push that and cartridge holder should show up and let you change it.
