After every use, I will wipe the whiteboard without delay. But the marker will still stain the board. I believe that the protect layer is gone. what can I do to restore the protection layer?

To remove the marker stain, use an acetone. I believe it should be replaced if the protectiove layer has already worn out.

I think buy a new one, however, I understand that turtle wax will serve well to protect the next one.
