I wouldn't be surprised if he made a reprise, but he won't remain for periods longer than say, 4 or 5 months at a time

You can never say never, but The Rock got out of the business with his money invested well and is making a ton with his movies.
Also, he has to pay Vince to use the name "The Rock," and he has made some comments concerning Vince being an executive producer or given some other title for the movies & all he does is cash a check. the way he has said it doesn't sound as if he really wants to do biz with Vince anytime soon.

No, I don't think that the Rock will return to wrestling. The Rock said that he has "done it all" and has accomplished everything that he has wanted to accomplish in the WWE. The only reason he came back for WrestleMania 19 was to take on Stone Cold, because he said that he has never beaten Stone Cold at WrestleMania. Since he beat Stone Cold at WrestleMania 19, he has done all he wanted to do.

In what Donnie Darko Universe are you and anyone that even has the thought that The Rock is going to return the ring living in?
That will happen the day The Rock gets no more roles, even in Brazilian snuff flicks.

Not if he has any brains left in his head. He gets paid MUCH more for making movies than wrestling.
Guest appearances and the occasional match, sure. But not full time.
