I'm sending positive thoughts and energy not only to your mother's spirit, but your way as well. Losing a loved one is always such a tremendous loss, but think of it this way...had she not made a positive impact in your life, you would not be feeling the loss. Please say a prayer for yourself and be thankful she was YOUR mother and you had the relationship that you did. They say time does heal all wounds...after 18 years of missing my Daddy I can honestly say it does get a little bit easier, but not a day goes by that I don't think of him...I am thankful he was such a precious part of my life.
Friday is the 18th anniversary of my Daddy's death...maybe your Mother and my Daddy are reading Yahoo Answers over our shoulders and smiling...or thinking we're such dorkettes for being so addicted to Y!A ;-)
When I was 17, we lost my grandmother and aunt within 3 months of each other...my Daddy took me outside and we laid on a blanket gazing up to the clouds. He painted a beautiful picture for me, pretending we could see Grandmother's and Aunt Anne's barefeet dangling off of the white fluffy cloud...2 years later when I lost my Daddy, I could then "see" his feet up there as well...Still to this day if I feel I need his advice or need him close, I look for a certain white fluffy cloud :)
Wow this is the longest answer I've written :) Hugs xoxoxox

i am sorry about the loss, hope you have great Easter.
through out the years I've realized how special moms can be, and the should be treasured as the jewel they are. my mom always tells me how bad she felt of her mother's death, cause she remembered how when she was there she didn't really care of what might happen to her, but when she lost her she wished that she could have hold on more to her. you never know when something is special, until you lose it.
Hope she rests in peace and may god always be with you.

If she accepted Jesus, then she is right where she needs to be. How about a prayer for your precious soul?
Also, sorry about your loss. :(

Lord, we lift up to you the blessed memory of a special lady who meant so much to the people who still mourn her death, and trust that she is with You and that she has peace. We trust in Your promise of eternal life to those who love You, and who we love. Thank You for Your mercy and kindness.
