Well color me crazy but I'm 68 and drive a 5 speed. Don't want a car! All old seniors should drive trucks...You can see out the window better and shifting keeps you alert.
Whats worse than seeing some little old man or woman crunched down in the car seat just barely able to see out the window.
I'm old and it makes me nervous.

Now if I were younger I'd have me a BMW

Hummer: Their best economic model gets what---8 miles to the gallon??? Hey: I can well afford a top end model vehicle ( I have two ) and I'd turn away a free Hummer.

Coming in at second: Chevy Trailblazer--they're end-heavy and will spin out wild on even the lightest wet road--especially when driving down a slight incline.

Oh....and yes: I hate stick shifters.

Kia mini van. I rented one to drive from AZ to ME last year and when I arrived in ME half the plastic junk on the inside was falling off! (it was new!)It is also noisy, and has WAY too many little hideaway spots in it. It took me 4 hours to find everything stowed in the darn thing!
It also has very rough carpeting in it, and the middle seats are like a freakin' guillotine to operate. My hubby more than once got zonked in the head with the seats when he was trying to pull them up from the floor from the stowaway position.
Give me an old VW hippie van anyday!

An Isetta. Google it. You actually open the entire front of the car to get in. It's slower than a Geo, uglier than a VW bug and more obscure than a Yugo.

Go ahead. Beat that one!

Ford Trucks. My Siblings purchased trucks from Ford .. and they were ALWAYS problems with them .. expensive to maintain, hard to keep them running, it seemed like they were always breaking down, and they were just a mess overall.

Also ... any car that is SMALLER than my Motorcycle. Just feel safer with my SAFETY GEAR on my Motorcycle than folded up and crammed into one of those tiny tin boxes .. and I am a taller Female -- so I can't even get into them or sit comfortably either.

EL Camino, I just can't stand how it's half car and half truck. I would sell that car immediately if I got it for free.

Free?? and it runs?? shoot, I'd drive anything that got me from point a to point b. Then again, we have four vehicles right now and one of them is currently running.
