It is the square root of 16, the cube root of 64, the absolute value of -4. It is also the difference of 7 and 3, the quotient of 20 and 5, or the product of 108/5 and5/27. It is the same as 2 squared or the number of letters in the state where Salt Lake City is located. It is the number of fingers most people have on their left hand, along with their thumb. It is the logarithm of 10000 or the number of sides on a quadrilateral, whether it be a trapezoid, a rhombus, a rectangle or a square.

Would you ever have guessed that all this could come out of 2 times 2?

a = b
a² = ab
a² + a² - 2ab = ab + a² - 2ab
2(a² - ab) = a² - ab
2 = 1

ok here it is

2 = 1 + 1

x = 2 + 2 goes to

x = 2 + (1 + 1)

since 1 = 2

x = 2 + (1 + 2)

x = 2 + 3

x = 5

you can make 2+2=anything greater than or equal to 2
