John Cena is more marketable for the WWE and he makes more money for its shareholders. hes pretty much been the champ for two straight years minus a few months in between, but right now, there is no other wrestler that vince has his fingers wrapped around more thus he is and will be the champ until they can find a more marketable champion.
Look for Mr. Kennedy to jump to Raw soon and put his money in the bank at either Summerslam or Survivor Series

He is highly marketable. His movie proved that, which by the way was pretty good, I liked it. I read somewhere that Cena doesn't defend the title as often as other champions have. I remember the days when titles changed hands at house shows in places like Somewhere, USA. Now it seems the title only changes hands a major pay per view events. I do have to say that I like the Marine Cena better than the Thug Cena.

Plus Shawn said he didn't want the WWE title, which makes you wonder why the hell he is even in wrestling then.
Aslong as people boo cena, he is still getting a reaction, if you really hate cena don't boo him because WWE loves that, they love reaction. They have said that a bad reaction is better then no reaction. So it's better to not even give him a reaction. Can you imagine cena coming out to a crowd that is just dead silent? WWE would definatly take the title off of him asap.

I know seriously! He shouldn't be champ anymore I rather have Chris Benoit as wwe champ and united states champ! Why did cena win you ask ? Because teenage girls and little boys LOVE him because of the CHAIN GANG but the girls do cause they think he is cute! If he lost the wwe belt they'd probably stop watching it , like me I stopped watching it for a while since Rey Mysterio left.

It's just lazy booking. Vince is so high on all the money that Cena's bringing in that he doesn't even feel the need to put out a good show any more. It's a shame.

Cena won just to piss Hbk of a little more as was the case on RAW during the tagteam battle royal when hbk eliminated his team by throwing cena over the top rope.
