I say it to my man because he is the best I ever had. And why is he the best ever? Because all of our emotions are tied in with our sexual feelings towards one another...its everything all wraped into one. I can't say for sure if I told anyone prior to my relationship with the hubby. When I think back to past exs' I want to puke of course....but I don't think I ever made those comments before. Maybe I have, heat of the moment...you say about anything thats on your mind!

I was going to say they are pandering to the male vanity but maybe it isn't a lie,maybe it is true and aren't you being a tad defensive?or do you really believe that you r performance didn't warrant such praise.In that case feelings of inadequacy comes to mind
