If he's elected, cons, and starts pushing the Mormon religion, will you literally lose your collective minds?

That's 100% fact.
I can't help it if you're politically clueless and ignorant.
Look it up yourselves. Maybe you'll actually learn something!

Mormons don't read the Bible either. They have their own book (gah, i cannot remember the name for the life of me now)
It's not a Christian offshoot, it's the Mormon religion.

And the majority of his campaign money has come from Utah, home of Mormons.
Joseph Smith would be proud! (what I know about politics would simply astound your feeble minds)

The point is stated in the first line of my question.
Did you actually bother to read it?

He absolutely will not start "pushing" his religion if he is elected. Did he "push" his religion on the people of Massachusetts (a very Catholic state) after he was elected? I'm sure his opponents when he was running for Gov. tried to strike fear of his religious beliefs in the hearts of the voters too.
It's like saying "oh my gosh, this guy is an avid golfer! If he is elected, golf is going to replace baseball as the national pastime, and he is going to push golfing on all of us!"

Wow you do not know what you are talking about.
First of all he has been Gov. of Mass. for a while and I have not heard anything about him pushing the Mormon religion in Mass. In matter of fact when he ran the winter Olympics in Utah he made sure it was not considered the Mormon Olympics.
Second, Mormons read the Bible.
Third who cares what state he get most of his money from. IF he did get most of his money from Utah I think it is great. It is about time some of the Rocky Mountain states got some attention back in Washington. I am tired of all the Big states getting all the attention and the smaller ones getting nothing.
Fourth, Yes I know Mitt Romney was a Mormon and almost everyone else in the USA does too. I guess you are one of the last to find out.

Why do so many people seem to think that a Mormon in the White House is going to throw the Constitution right out the window?
Did you know that, as LDS, we believe the Constitution of the US to be a GOD-INSPIRED document?
I'd be more worried to get one of those "Christian Coalition" people in the Oval Office.

If he is going to be another religionist like Bush the country will look twice at this one, unlike Bush who kept his extreme views vis a vis governmental and religion quiet at first. This country will not tolerate another goverment that tries to usurp the constitution.
Simple have a 'different' religion wouldn't disqualify him in my mind, his policies would, and if his policies were based only on his Mormonism, they would be difficult to sell to me.

I'm not familar with Mitt Romney nor his beliefs.
I just need to clarify something the Church of Christ & Mormons (AKA The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) are two DISTINCTLY DIFFERENT groups.
I'm COC & we believe in the Bible ONLY, no creeds of man!

We're voting for chief executive, not chief theologian. Did Kennedy push his catholic religion on country? Nixon was a quaker, Clinton a baptist. Who cares what religion they are.

Yes, he's a Mormon. That is not illegal. It's a very conservative group as a whole, but they do lots of good and from what I have seen, its members lead good, healthy, productive lives.

Yes I did know that. Did you know that he is the only republican candidate for president that has only one wife and he is the Mormon. How ironic is that?
