What would a separate and independent Democratic Earth and Republican Earth each be like?

Question

Suppose there were two planet Earths. Suppose that Democrats completely ran one without opposition and Republicans completely ran the other without opposition. What would each planet be like after a couple of hundred years? I'm interested in knowing other people's perspective on a creative but absurd philosophical question. Suppose you could visit and evaluate each but would have to eventually make a choice of one or the other for permanent residence. What would they be like after a couple of millenniums and which would you choose? Thanks!

If we gave them long enough, then probably the democrat one would end up like Harrison Bergeron and the republican one would end up like 1984. :P

There wouldn't be any difference The Republican and Democratic Parties are Fronts for an Aristocracy that is bleeding us dry. They all go to the same cocktail parties where the Press sucks up to them. Thier children go to the same schools and intermarry.

I guess we could always hope for a genetic mutation to wipe them out

As long as Republicans were real ones and not the rinos, we would have peace and lots of prosperity.

Everyone would take responsibility for themselves. Government would only exist to protect the country and set mediums of exchange. Taxes would be low. Growth would be enormous.

Also, the societies would follow the Constitution literally

The Republican one would look like America in the 1950's.

The Democratic one would look like current-day North Korea, with more brainwashing.

On the Democratic earth they would eat tofu and raw vegetables. On the Republican earth they would grill steaks and have margaritas on Sunday.
