Awfully egotistical. Caused a lot of trouble, by creating his monster. Didn’t want to take responsibility for it afterward. Felt sorry for himself (though, by that point, he’d lost most of his loved ones to the monster, so it’s not surprising he spent most of his time whining.) The best thing he ever did was refuse to tell the ship’s captain how he was able to create life, so nobody else could do the same horrible thing he had done.
