I'd have to give the nod here to Ray Lewis over Brian Urlacher. Then again keep in mind that this is a Ravens fan speaking here.
The one thing I can say about Ray Lewis is that while he may not be at the peak of his career anymore, Ray motivates the Ravens defense to a higher level when he's on the feild with them. Ray Lewis IS the leader of that defense when he's one that feild and he seems to motivate the best out of the players around him on the feild.
If I recall correctly, the only time the Ravens allowed a 100 yard rusher was at the game in Tennessee when Travis Henry had over 100 yards and a TD. And that was a game that the Ravens won off of a blocked feild goal at the end 27-26. And if I also recall correctly that was the only game Ray Lewis this season.
So maybe what makes Ray Lewis scary as a player isn't all about his physical ability, perhaps it has something to with the fact that he can motivate an entire defensive unit to play with the same kind of passion and intensity that he does. And that can be pretty scary consider how good the Ravens 2006 defense was, which was better than Chicago.

I would say if you were actually in the NFL it would be scarier playing against Ray Lewis just because he is so much faster, and more agressive, but for me i think Brian Urlacher would be scarier because of all the talk about him and his high profile which could make him seem better than he really is.

Ray Lewis is probably scarier, though Urlacher is a better all-around linebacker than Ray-Ray - at least right now. Urlacher is faster and can play the pass and cover receivers better.

If by scarier you mean better, then definitely Lewis. Urlacher is really overrated.

Urlacher of course. He's most versatle player at the position. How many linebackers in the league that you know of can chase down a QB like Mike Vick.

Ray Lewis is past his prime. He is not as fast as he used to be. You would be crazy if you were not more afraid of Urlacher at this point.

Urlacher is a BEAST, back in has day lewis was too but i'd hate to line up as QB against urlacher, heck i'd hate 2 line up against either one lol
