Do you not believe have a commitment to try and complete the task so many of our young troops have died for trying to complete?
Do you not think we have made a commitment to the Iraqis who have supported the fledgling government and risked their lives to vote for their independence?
Perhaps when a minority of thugs indiscriminately terrorize and murder innocent civilians, we should just pack up and leave these citizens to fend for themselves.
We need better and more effective policies, not more criticism. If someone has a better idea than the troop surge and the new strategy in Baghdad - let's hear it. And, no, immediate withdrawal is not a better idea.
You can do better than ask rhetorical questions such as this one. Your liberal views and anti-Bush sentiments can be much better expressed in a more intelligent manner than stating the ridiculous premise that these young soldiers are purposely sent "to their graves" - and you know you can.

4 years and 3200+ soldiers weren't enough for them.
Maybe 10 years and 10,000 soliders would better suit them?
