even if your vision is really bad?
I was born with bad vision and it just got worse and I had to live with wearing glasses almost all my life, I want to wear contacts.
do you know if I can still wear contacts even tho my vision sucks?
when I take my glasses off it feels like I'm blind
the only time I take em off is when I go to sleep

contacts are actually even better for people with really bad vision! trust me, im a -5 in one eye and -4.75 in the other and i've been wearing them for 2 years. my favorite (they feel the most natural in my eyes) have been the biomedics brand. if you're vision's that bad, you should get the laser eye surgery. i will as soon as i am 21!

Most likely, you can wear contacts. I have a couple of friends w/ the kind of vision you describe & they wear contacts.

You need to talk to an optometrist to have an exam to be sure and to find out what kind of contacts would be best for you.

BTW, there's a therapy called corneal refractive therapy that helps your eye sight improve over time. Two of my friends had their kids under go CRT & their vision improved.

Here's a link w/ more information: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Corneal_Refractive_Therapy

i was just like that but had to get contacts for sports.
yes. but you have to have an exam to get them fitted. you should be able to unless there is an issue with the shape of your eyes which isn't very common.
but yes you should be able to.
