My "friend" tells me to go hug a tree whenever she sees me because I don't eat pot roast. I just happen to not like pop roast. It is nasty. I am afraid to invite her over anymore because all my toiletries practically yell out "WE DO NOT TEST ON ANIMALS!" What do I do?

Tell her to get off your back. There is nothing wrong with not liking pot roast or having products that are not tested on animals. If she can't lay off, than she is stupid. You are not a treehugger. You don't like potroast...big deal.

Follow what you beleive to be right - if you chose to not eat pot roast and use toileteries that haven't been tested on animals that's what you chose because it's what you beleive to be right. Don't go changing to suit other people, explain your reasons, tell your friend how you feel and that you're doing what you feel is right.

don't worry about what your friends think it is a good thing to care about the environment. So what if she calls you a tree hugger it is an exaggeration because tree huggers chain themselves to trees to stop people from chopping down as an act of protest.

this is your life not hers. she goes through life different than you do. my best friend does not eat any meat at all. and you know what i have to say --> more power to you girl! people are different. you do not say anything bad about her eating pot roast. that is just childish. good luck!
