My wife, the cats, and my 15 year old Oranda goldfish if there's time. Theyr'e the only living creatures in the house.

If there was even more time, I suppose I'd grab my personal records, wallet, stuff like that. I just hate waiting in line at the DMV, know what I mean?

I guess the plants will just have to fend for themselves.

That all depends on the time of the fire. If it was at night the first thing I would do is wake everybody up and try get everyone to safety but if the fire is in the daytime I would probably try get the things of most value first. (Money, cheques, id's, passports, etc) Than I would go for my electronics.

Grab the money and let the cats and the dog out

Without money there is little a person can do. Either cash or credit cards. The animals do neet to have a way out.

My cell phone. My dog Jack lives 250 feet away from the house, but I would go get him after I got out so we would be together. I would also make sure my brother got out because we share the upstairs.
