Libby didn't hate the US. It's not nearly that simple. But like all political pigs, he confused the nation's security with that of his own political party. It's no accident that God warned us TWICE in the space of a mere 10 Commandments against committing idolatry, because it's SO easy to do it without even realizing that you're doing it!
