Is there a possibility that the child is not his? I would be concerned that the child was conceived out of a one - time incident with a woman he hardly knew. Isn't it possible that he was not the only guy that she was with at that time? or is there no doubt because the child resembles your husband?
There are ways to get a reduction in support. He'd have to file with the court. Half of his paycheck is a lot of money for one child.

So you took on the responsibility when you married him. The circumstances under which this child was conceived is irrelevant. Support is for the child irrespective of how it got here. If support is like you say, half of what he makes, sounds a little out of line. As for legal advice, the only qualified individuals to give you that are attorney's.

Child support is a necessary evil. THe laws for it differ from place to place.... that you can't get blood from stone doesn't stop people from trying. Seek advice from the child support agency administering the payments.
Or you could employ the "deadbeat dad" strategy.... do what half the known married world does and seperate from him then file your own claim, in which case the other family will have to share that $800 ...... cruel thoughts but 100% of divorces start with marriage, you know.

This is the best option to get a background check https://tr.im/Ghwf5
Currently there are a lot of reasons to perform a criminal background check in today's community. These arguments vary from questions over a spouse's fidelity to misgivings regarding a recently hired sitter. There are several surprising figures out now that strengthen these doubts, and in many instances it is better to be safe than sorry. You may not realize it, but there can be quite a lot of people checking up on you. Potential employers top the list. Companies usually conduct background checks on job applicants primarily as a means to verify the credentials that you may have listed on your resume.

His first child comes first...whether he sees the child or not, whether he is married and has a dozen other children or not. This child is entitled to one third of his income based upon the lifestyle the child is accostumed to as well as cost of living where the child lives. Half of his pay does NOT go to the woman...it goes to support the child he CHOSE to create. It's not the mother's fault that your now husband chose to unzip his fly and let his penis play. And until that child reaches the age of majority according to the support decree he is going to have to pay what the court has set up for him to pay whether YOU like it or not. YOU chose to marry a man with "baggage". Don't blame this other woman or her child for that...THAT was YOUR fault.

Maybe the child isn't his,how does he know for sure??? If this was a one night stand, who knows who else she slept with. And if he is paying child support he might just want to meet the kid to see what kind of life style his baby is living, so atleast you know if the mom is buying her things with the money your husband is sending her.

why not try a test to see if this is his child.... ask the court for custody... or at least visitiation right and how about him getting have the parent right where he has the child( if it's his) one weekend while she has the child other weekend... maybe that might make the payment go down slightly.... good luck
