Are you ever afraid to fall asleep?

Sometimes I think about being conscious one minute & then going into nothingness the next. It's such a vulnerable feeling.

I sleep well everynight, it's just sometimes I get a feeling of wondering just were am I going.

Yeah i do know what you mean by feeling vulnerable in that way, but i actually think of it as an escape...so im not really afraid of it..in fact i wish i could do it more and better...but i also do hate it when i have nightmares and sometimes i´d rather just stay up the whole night than fall asleep..just to avoid the nightmares.

sometimes I'm afraid of having nightmares and such, but I'm not afraid of falling asleep for the same reason as you...

Yes I've had a severe nightmare I am afraid to go to back to sleep I will dream it all over again.

the only time i was ever afraid to sleep was when my dog was giving birth to puppies coming out the wrong way , i stayed up all night with her and had to pull the first 2 out, she had 4 pups the first one died the second one i had to breath life into it and it worked

Every night of my life. I will stay awake for hours picking the feathers out of my pillows.

I hate when I fall asleep driving. People start honking at me, and it scares the heck out of me, causing me to drop my phone, and Margarita. Right into the menudo.
